This poem is my reckoning with time. So often it feels like I am seeing the death of everything, the ends of everything, that I am living in several timelines at once, and I forget to simply be in the present in this timeline. So I chose my back porch, in the North Georgia Mountains (specifically, Young Harris), a place where I tend to go to separate myself from technology and distractions and exist in the present.
